then they used the inputted rear end ratio. If they did, my guess is that the inputted ratio wasn't used. Generally, dynos measure the wheel torque, compute the drivetrain ratio from the wheel and engine RPM, and then use the drivetrain ratio to convert the wheel torque to engine torque and power. This setup is unaffected by gear ratios, wheel size, etc. In fact, you could have the pull in any gear and still get very similar HP/TQ.
